Fit to Deliver classes adapt traditional Pilates exercises to create a safe, effective exercise system for you during and after your pregnancy.
You will learn how to activate your deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles. Physiotherapy research has shown that developing these deep "stabilising" muscles can help prevent low back and pelvic pain.
Strong abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, a good breathing technique and good muscle tone will help you to adjust to the physical changes occurring in your body while your baby develops. Fit to Deliver can be continued post-natally to ensure your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles recover strength and tone safely.

Instructors
Chloe Lorback, an experienced Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor with post-graduate qualifications in Women's Health, specifically developed these classes to enable women to safely undertake Pilates training throughout their pregnancy and beyond. Chloe has 2 gorgeous sons, born 18 months apart, and knows first hand how much strength and support you need for your back and pelvis during pregnancy, and when you are a busy mum. Chloe has helped many women to safely develop and maintain muscle strength and tone and improve body awareness and posture during pregnancy with Pilates.
Tracy Fisher, Sharona Finch, Caroline Johnson, Lauren Gelbart, Pim Small, Lindy Francou, Rachel Bell and Sarah Rudd, all physio's and pilates instructors with a special interest in women's health, are part of the Fit to Deliver team. We are supported at reception by Marlea and Jordan.
