Certificate IV in Massage Therapy HLT42015

This qualification reflects the role of massage therapists who provide general health maintenance treatments. It does not reflect the role of a remedial massage therapist. Practitioners may be self-employed or work within a larger health service.

Individuals from a range of backgrounds may be interested in this qualification, including those aspiring to enter the industry and those in the industry, seeking a formal qualification.



Course Delivery

The course is campus based and includes practical clinic activities to be undertaken at SITCM's on-campus Teaching Clinic. It is delivered on a full-time basis over 6 months’ duration (or part-time equivalent). Part-time study is not available for International Students.

 

Career Opportunities

Students who successfully complete the program may choose to further their studies by undertaking HLT52015 Diploma of Remedial Massage or HLT52115 Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Remedial Massage.
