The school was founded by Barbara Brennan and is now celebrating its 40th year of existence with 9 worldwide locations.  Barbara Brennan is the world renown author of Hands of Light, Light Emerging and Core Light Healing. These books continue to be 3 of the best-selling books on the human energy field and consciousness.

BBSH is known to teach one of the most comprehensive approaches to energy healing and personal transformation. The school is also known for helping individuals with their own personal healing and to uncover their life task.  As our personal blocks are healed, people find that there is more access to their creativity, joy, and the radiant light that we each are as being part of the divine. The school additionally teaches individuals how to open their perceptual skills to connect with the higher spiritual realms as well as the myriads of invisible worlds.

The school is a 4-year school occurring 5 weeks throughout the year. Each year is dedicated to the fundamental question:  Who am I?  This question is explored each year with healing skills and personal transformation that corresponds to different levels and dimensions of our human energy consciousness system. Year 1 in relationship to yourself, year 2 in relationship to others including both the seen and unseen worlds, year 3 in relationship to the divine and year 4 in relationship to how we bring our life task and essence out into the world. The commitment for each year can be decided one year at a time.

The program is designed so that you can still work and maintain your family life.  The classes can be done either in person or remotely.  School starts in March of each year. Applicants will also be allowed to enter in class 2 in July and all prior coursework can be tutored.  After the 2nd class begins, potential applicants will need to enrol in the following year.

Becoming part of this large community of humans seeking to find the way to shine more light from their core essence has been the most transformational experience of my life, and the journey continues.  After my graduation from the four year program in 1998 and completing Advanced Studies and Teacher Training in 2000 and further teaching at BBSH till 2004, I have always maintained my connections with the school and in particular many of my close friends and classmates.  I have built my professional practice since 1998 into a very satisfying and fulfilling career and now I am once again more deeply connected as a small class teacher in BBSH Australia.  The reconnection to the roots and principles of BBSH has once again caused me to feel that amazing feeling of Coming Home once again.
