Gingivitis
Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gum tissue typically caused by plaque or tartar build up. If it is not treated, it may lead to the more serious periodontitis. Symptoms of gingivitis include red, swollen, puffy gums that bleed easily, receding gums, bad breath, and a bad taste in the mouth. Treatment includes removing the plaque, homoeopathy, and nutritional supplements. To prevent gingivitis from recurring, it is important to practice good dental hygiene.
