Giardiasis

Giardiasis is a protozoan infection of the small intestine that is spread by contaminated water and by faecal-oral contact. Symptoms include diarrhea, cramps, weight loss, fatigue, bloating, gas/flatulence, and nausea. Treatment for giardiasis includes medication, fluid replacement, and herbal remedies.
