Fainting

Fainting is defined as a sudden loss of consciousness that the person spontaneously recovers from. It occurs when not enough blood or oxygen reaches the brain. It may be caused by things such as dehydration, standing up too quickly, situational events such as having blood drawn, and heart conditions. Treatment for fainting includes herbal medicine, homoeopathy, aromatherapy, acupuncture, and simply being cautious when moving from one position to another.
