Dance
Joanna Carroll is an independent dancer and choreographer. Qualified and experienced as both a teacher and visual artist, she has a graduate diploma in Movement and Dance with additional studies in Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance forms.
She has worked with a variety of community groups for children and older adults such as the Footscray Women’s Circus.
Contemporary Dance Class is from 11.30 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday. Call Joanna on 9417 6336 for more info.
Contemporary dance is unique. Not only does it draw from other dance styles—classical, Graham and release technique—it incorporates other physical disciplines such as yoga and pilates. The body is stretched, strengthened and stimulated. The only prerequisite is an open mind!
