Welcome to Yindee Thai Massage

Yindee Thai Massage was operated in the first time at Rapid Creek Market, Darwin at late of 2000 by Mr. Prawat Yindee. This business provided Traditional Thai massage and Reflexology foot massage. Then he opened another one at Parap Market, Darwin at early of 2003. Both of them operated only on weekend.

In early 2006, Yindee Thai Massage was operated in the Darwin Transit centre and it was the first branch which opens since Monday till Saturday. This business was called “Yindee Thai Massage and Steam Sauna” because there were steam sauna units activated in it (there are no sauna units recently)

In early 2009, the business at Parap Market was closed because Mr. Prawat moved to set up another business in Queensland but still have staff working at Rapid Creek Market. Also the one at Darwin Transit was changed name to be “Yindee Thai Massage Darwin”

In late 2009, the new business in Gold Coast was operated at opposite of Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre named “Yindee Thai Massage Broadbeach”. This business provides more services include Thai Oil Massage and Thai Mixed Massage (Traditional Thai with Oil).

Traditional Thai Massage

Through compressions, pressure on specific points and stretches to release blockages, a free flow of energy is restored. Thai massage is performed on a futon over clothing. No oil or lotion is used. This is one of the world's oldest healing modalities. It is a blend of massage, acupressure, energy work, and gentle yoga stretches.

The client wears comfortable clothing and lies on the floor on a soft mat. Benefits from a session may include: releasing tight joints, stretching muscles, increasing range of motion, and reducing stress.

Thai Oil Massage (available only Broadbeach branch)

This massage refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

This form of massage involves the use of kneading, stroking, friction, tapping, and vibration and may provide relief from stiffness, numbness, pain, constipation, and other health problems. The main purpose of oil massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles. Other possible benefits include stimulation of circulation and an increase in muscle tone.

Thai mixed massage (available only Broadbeach branch)

This massage is a combination between Traditional Thai massage and Thai oil massage. This type still performed on a futon over clothing but required the customer to take the top cloth off to apply oil on body. Same as Traditional Thai massage, it is still a blend of massage, acupressure, energy work, and gentle yoga stretches but a bit more relaxation like a Thai oil massage include: kneading, stroking, friction, tapping, and vibration

The client wears comfortable fisherman pants and lies on the floor on a soft mat. Benefits from a session are releasing tight joints, stretching muscles, increasing range of motion, and reducing stress plus increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles.

Reflexology Foot Massage

Reflexology is an ancient Chinese technique that uses pressure-point massage (usually on the feet, but also on the hands and ears) to restore the flow of energy throughout the entire body. The science of Reflexology has been around for thousands of years. It is based on the premise that there are reflexes in our hands, feet and ears that relat

e to every organ and part of our body. By stimulating these reflexes with pressure and manipulation, nerve function and blood supply may be improved, which may alleviate stress and other health problems.

Reflexology is based on the belief that each part of the body is interconnected through the nervous system to the hands and feet. Stimulating specific reflex points in the feet can bring needed nutrients to poorly functioning areas of the body. This can help restore balance throughout the body.
