In sessions facilitated by a qualified holistic counsellor, complementary therapist, Reiki master/teacher, and angel practitioner, a variety of modalities are available to assist you on your personal journey to holistic well-being.

Whatever brings you to these pages, you have an affinity with a more holistic approach to health and well-being. As well as following the more traditional path of conventional healthcare, you are also open and receptive to the potential benefits of other complementary modalities.

As such, you may be deeply knowledgeable, or just curious, tentative or fiercely determined. You may have immersed yourself in more holistic approaches through reading, research and gentle conversations with friends, practitioners or experienced explorers. You may have tried specific therapies in the past, successfully or not.

On the other hand, you may just be guided and drawn by an innate curiosity in the metaphysical or alternative perspectives, or be driven by a sense of wanting something in addition to the more conventional therapeutic approaches.

In our experience, people who engage in holistic approaches do so from some natural (often hidden) intellectual, emotional or even spiritual connection whereby they seek to align their thoughts, feelings and actions (their head, heart and hands) into a meaningful, life-affirming coherence.

As principal of Wombat Hollow, Pathways to Harmony and Health, I recognise the slightly limited connotation that the word ‘therapy’ conveys. In its most restricted sense the word suggests remediation, in other words, addressing and resolving a deficit or problem.

Holistic counselling, complementary therapies, and Reiki healing can be powerful interventions in breaking free from past or present shackles.

However, Wombat Hollow, Pathways to Harmony and Light, has a very strong dual orientation. While we are dedicated to helping you resolve an identified problem or concern, we are especially dedicated to promoting your personal growth, expansion, and ongoing well-being and happiness.

When engaging with ‘Wombat Hollow’ you may be driven by ‘problem-based’ goals, or ‘vision-based’ goals. No matter, as our support remains constant.

Holistic coaching, crystal healing, colour therapy, Reiki, angel or other guidance readings, as well as guided imagery, meditations and affirmations, are all considered, for the potent and potentially transformative experiences they can offer.

Through conversation and mutual engagement, we will clarify and goal-set. Together we will explore and step forward, using the most appropriate enabling and empowering techniques.

Yes indeed!  We will work with you in parallel with your specialist.

If you are under treatment for a particular health issue, it is important that you advise us of this.  It is also important to let your specialist know you are keen to incorporate some holistic health strategies.

Any holistic counselling, Reiki, complementary therapies or other well-being processes received through this practice, are intended to complement but not be used as a substitute for appropriate medical or other professional healthcare advice and treatment you may require.
