Usui Shiki Ryoho

Usui Shiki Ryoho (also called The Usui System of Reiki Healing) is the practice that was first brought to the west from Japan in 1937, and is carried through the lineage and teachings of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata and Phyllis Furumoto . Students who learn Reiki with us are directly connected to this lineage. The practice was developed by a Japanese scholar, Mikao Usui. He gave it the name of “Reiki" by which it is now known worldwide.

First level Reiki students receive

• initiation in direct lineage to Mikao Usui

• principles of Mikao Usui

• training in the full foundation practice

• history of Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage and practice

• demonstration and practice of Reiki self-treatment

• demonstration and practice of how to give Reiki to others

• applications of Reiki in everyday life

• Reiki treatment share with other students.

Second level Reiki students receive

• tools to go deeper into practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki

Your Teachers: Reiki Masters Wendy Watson and Sharron Mackison

Wendy and Sharron bring a wealth of knowledge gained from 27yrs and 22yrs respective personal practice of Reiki, plus an uncommon depth of professional treatment experience comprising thousands of clinical case hours with diverse clients. In addition to their extensive Reiki experience Sharron and Wendy are qualified health practitioners in other fields.

Wendy Watson

Wendy’s vocational background is in science and pathology. She is a homoeopath with over 20 years experience in full-time practice and accredited by Australian Traditional Medicine Society.

Sharron Mackison

Sharron is a registered Clinical Hypnotherapist accredited by Australian Society of Clinical Hypntherapists, and a Clinical Counsellor accredited by the Australian Counselling Association. Sharron is also accredited by both theser organisations as an approved professional supervisor.

In addition to their personal, clinical and teaching practice of Reiki, Wendy and Sharron have had a strong community practice of Reiki. In 2008 they co-ordinated an intensive residential seminar for Reiki masters, presented by Phyllis Lei Furumoto, Takata's grand-daughter, and head of the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. They are founding members of "Reiki Australia", a Reiki membership association. Health practitioners claim CPD points

You may help yourself professionally as well as personally when you undertake your Reiki training with Sharron and Wendy. A certificate of participation is issued to students on completion of the course. Both teachers are nationally accredited trainers, possessing Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment. Check with your association to establish their acceptance of this Reiki training as part of your ongoing professional development.

Our clinic and training room is at Elimbah, only about a kilometre from the Pumicestone Rd exit off Bruce Highway. If you prefer to attend Nambour Sunshine Coast clinic, we endorse the practice of the very experienced Reiki practitioner, and our sometimes class co-ordinator, Coralea Mackison.
