​I am a professional member of the Australian Hypnotherapy Association.

My philosophy in practicing hypnotherapy is influenced by my academic and professional training together with my commitment to help my clients.

I believe that our mind is designed to solve issues that faced by our ancestors in the Stone Age. Our mind has constant conflicts with responding to persistent demands of modern technological developments and rapid social and cultural changes, which have made the modern society more complex and challenging. This conflict results in psychological, behavioural and emotional issues in people.

My academic background in sociology, social psychology and educational psychology has provided me with an advantage of understanding this human dynamics.

My professional training in clinical hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) has provided me with a wide range of tools and techniques to choose from for treating different psychological, behavioural and emotional issues.

I believe that my clients are resourceful people. Very often our inner resources can be overtaken by our emotions or our own representational systems which distort realities. I elicit inherent positive resources and then develop a framework for change using hypnotic interventions. I allow the therapy process to progress through a strong collaboration with my clients.

As a professional member of the Australian Hypnotherapy Association (AHA), I am obliged to comply with its Codes of Ethics, professional standards and guidelines. The details are accessible at AHA website: www.ahahypnotherapy.org.au

I bring my academic, research, teaching, investigative and behaviour assessment skills to hypnotherapy endeavour.


OUR APPROACH


We start with a plan of 3 sessions, THAT IS ALL WE NEED.

For some issues one session could be adequate. 

I will teach you self-hypnosis techniques you can do anytime, anywhere and nobody knows you are doing something.

Our goal is to make you happy, healthy, resourceful, and independent, as quickly as possible.


We boost your emotional health


Emotional health is your state of wellbeing. When you are emotionally healthy you are in control of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. You have clear understanding of your goals and destinations. You are able to cope with your life’s challenges. You can keep problems in perspective and bounce back from setbacks. You feel good about yourself, you have a positive outlook and have healthy relationships.

We conduct a holistic appraisal of your life fulfilment and identify where attention is needed. Using proven techniques of clinical hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming and cognitive behaviour therapy we remove your obstacles, install positive outlook and coach your journey.

We help you to quit smoking


Hypnotherapy is a PROVEN medically recommended therapy which successfully allows you to quit smoking.

You learned to smoke. You carried on doing so when you were stressed, anxious or nervous, or sometimes angry. After a while, it just seemed like the smoking was how you escaped from those undesired states of mind, and you used it as an excuse and even a diversion.

To quit, you are simply going to use the similar nature of process that you used to commence smoking, but instead do so in a more positive and relaxed way.

All that you will have to do with hypnotherapy is sit back in a nice comfortable chair and relax and listen to me, it doesn’t get any easier than that.

We help you control your weight


I can help you to install you with a unique tailor-made strategy for weight loss, removing your negative emotions and helping you to discover your inner strengths.

Our negative emotions mean we often eat for the wrong reasons, people will eat when they're sad, lonely, bored or sometimes angry - and then they'll feel guilty and beat themselves up afterwards, creating a plunging spiral. No amount of emotional eating will help you repair yourself.

I can help you to install powerful principles that remove negative emotions, rediscover yourself, repair your inner pain, achieve and sustain the right weight; right attitude, right imagination, right belief system/ values, short term achievable goals and supportive eating habits/ exercise habits to support your optimum health.

We eleminate your anxiety/ depression


When a patient is suffering with high levels of anxiety and depressed state, they are not functioning in their ‘normal’ rational consciousness but rather from their emotions. They feel out of control and pounded by their current and immediate surrounding situations. It is not a resourceful state to be in. When someone is drowning is not the time to give them a swimming lesson. Throwing a life belt is the appropriate thing to do.

I have developed a number of life belts or techniques to help anxious and depressed clients to address and remove their mental state with combination of methods from clinical hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, emotional psychology, and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Anxiety clients need urgent treatment before develop into depression.

I have unconditional positive regard and empathy for all my clients. We can work together to remove your anxiety.   

We remove your difficulties to get pregnant (infertility)


A significant proportion of women who experience difficulties getting pregnant and delayed conception are in an “unexplained” category. Psychological factors are frequently implicated for conditions where no organic or physical cause can be found.

For example, one study found that 46% of infertile patients attending fertility clinics conceived during the investigation and before treatment began. This implied that stress of the delayed conception caused to the problem. Conception after adoption is another frequently quoted reason for implying a psychological cause. There are other cases where women conceived soon after their past traumatic experience, stresses and emotional conflicts were resolved.

If psychological factors are causal or contributory in the delayed pregnancy that should be the underlying machinery needs attention.

We remove your phobias/panic attacks


A simple phobia is defined as an irrational fear of a specific object, activity or situation.

Hypnotherapists and NLP practitioners perceive phobias as being easy to treat. It is often very rewarding to work with such patients. 

I use various techniques, depending on each phobia and each individuals. I treat for any phobia that may include spider phobia, social phobia, agoraphobia, claustrophobia, flying phobia, bird phobia, public speaking phobia, needle phobia etc.

Phobias can be removed from three sessions or less. You can be free from phobia and panic attacks. 

We relieve your chronic and acute pain


Some studies have indicated that pain is always subjective. It is unquestionably a sensation in a part or parts of the body, but it is also always unpleasant and therefore also an emotional experience (International Association for the Study of Pain, 1994)

Hypnotherapy interventions consistently produce significant decreases in pain associated with a variety of chronic-pain problems including

We boost your self confidence and self-esteem


Self- esteem relates to how we value ourselves whilst self confidence relates to how we behave. 

Self confidence is a quality many of us lack and poor self-esteem underpins many emotional problems. We are what we think we are.

Often, with patients who have poor self esteem and low resilience, it is found that they have a background of early trauma or come from a family background.

Using hypnosis and imagery we can help our patients connect more strongly with their goal or desired emotional state. 

There are a number of technique that we use combining NLP, cognitive behaviour therapy and clinical hypnotherapy to assist our clients.

We remove your addictions and habits


There is plenty of case study evidence for the use of hypnosis in certain addiction and habits. Often cognitive-behavioural approaches are combined with relaxation training, hypnosis can be an effective way of facilitating this, as well as addressing and resolving underlying issues of low self-esteem and insecurity.

I use a combination of methods from clinical hypnotherapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, emotional psychology, and Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) to remove addictions and habits. 

We cure your Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)


Irritable bowel syndrome is common among 10% 20% of the population. It can be lifelong, chronic and relapsing condition. Among the symptoms include abdominal pain or discomfort, change in bowel habit, either diarrhoea or constipation or both and a sensation of or actual abdominal distension (bloating). IBS also can have non-colonic symptoms such as nausea, excess wind, headaches, thigh pain and urinary urgency.

Hypnotherapy is medically recognised treatment for IBS. For example, in the United Kingdom, the National Institute for Clinical Excellence recommended hypnotherapy as an ‘approved’ therapy for IBS in 2008.

We cure your sleeping disorders


There are a whole range of sleep disorders, however, insomnia is the commonest presenting problem. Nightmares, night terrors and sleepwalking are also frequent reasons for referral to hypnotherapy.
