Heidi's Classes
Heidi teaches Vinyasa style yoga with the Tuesday class being a flow class incorporating deep release and the Wednesday/Friday Express class being a more dynamic vinyasa class.
VINYASA is a style of Hatha Yoga designed to flow seamlessly and smoothly from one posture to another while synchronizing the breath and movement. Classes build heat, endurance, flexibility and strength in a supportive surround and can be practiced for beginners as well as those with an ongoing practice. Guided with modifications and adaptations to suit all levels, Vinyasa practice assists you to create harmony and balance of your body, mind and spirit. Expect a deep and well-rounded practice and to feel relaxed, released and rejuvenated after each class.
VINYASA RELEASE – This class offers less of a vigorous flow between poses and allows more time in poses to experience the wonderful effects of alignment and connection to the breath.
DYNAMIC VINYASA – This practice will focus on postures, alignment and breathing techniques with a strong (faster) flow practice.
Lucinda's Classes
HATHA YOGA is the foundation for all styles of yoga.
DRU YOGA is a more flowing style of yoga incorporating Hatha yoga postures into sequences, moving with the breath, becoming like a moving meditation.
In Lucinda’s classes you are invited to just be you – nowhere to go, nothing to do, just to be here, your body on the mat, for the next hour or so. Focusing on your balance you forget about anything that has happened before the class, anything that is going to happen after the class – and to just be here, now.
Moving with the breath you stretch, release & strengthen the whole body, flowing between postures with visualisations & affirmations, the class becomes a moving meditation. Close your eyes, take the attention inwards, notice how the physical body feels, how the mental emotional & spiritual bodies feel. This is what yoga is all about. Working to your own pace, do as little or as much as you want, it is all an invitation.
