I don’t believe in quick fixes or bandaids when it comes to parenting.

There is no one size fits all solution for families because there is no one size fits all family!

I really care about you and your kids and want to support you to ALL to have the family life you deserve.

The Back Story

Before my daughter was born, I worked with families who were struggling to get through the day, every day.

It didn’t take me long to see that those parents who were disciplining their kids with anger and isolation were struggling to see improvements in their behaviours and worse than that, failing to build trusting, respectful relationships with them.

It was at that time that I realised that what kids really need is deep love, acceptance and a whole lot of connection!  I knew then that I was called to support families to do things differently.

I started Tree House with the sole purpose of improving relationships in families because I knew that connection was the answer to improving behaviours.

I started teaching parents how to use connection to balance out power struggles, deep listening to master melt-downs and gentle discipline to manage anger.

I began working with parents before their babes were even born, to support them to understand how vital their own connections are to become the parents they truly want to be. Connections with each other, their new babies, themselves and their community,

I worked closely with parents to work out how to integrate these changes into their unique family.

The parents I have worked with have seen vast improvements in behaviour, mood and sleep and all tell me that they love my strategies for deepening their connection with their kids.

For the last fifteen years, I have worked with over one hundred families in many different settings, towns and countries. I have worked with families who have experienced trauma, kids at risk of suicide, refugee families from many cultures, severely disadvantaged families and parents trying everything they can to improve the lives of their kids. I have worked with FIFO families, blended families, single parent families, city families, suburban families and rural families.
