Clinical Hypnotherapy is natural
Clinical Hypnotherapy may sound mysterious, but it’s perfectly natural - the ‘trance’ that hypnotherapy generates is a safe, natural state that you are probably used to experiencing in your daily life. It’s similar to the absorbed state you sometimes find yourself in when watching a really good movie or daydreaming.
Clinical Hypnotherapy is safe
When you’re under Hypnosis, you’re always awake and in control. You will always know what is happening and you can’t be forced into doing anything you don’t want to do. You can move, open your eyes, get up, or speak at any time. Hypnotherapy is safe, most often relaxing, and you are okay to drive or work afterwards.
Clinical Hypnotherapy is powerful
Hypnosis can bring about potent change for many people. By harnessing the focused mental state, you are able to become more open to receiving helpful suggestions for change. Hypnosis also assists the embedding of those suggestions in the deeper, subconscious parts of your mind, allowing them to have greater impact.
Clinical Hypnotherapy is proven
Clinical trials have shown Hypnosis reduces the symptoms of a variety of physical and psychological conditions, including anxiety, stress and chronic pain. Although this is not a guarantee of success, it demonstrates that most people will experience some benefit from Hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy is easy to experience
Most people are able to be hypnotised to some useful depth. Most treatments need only a light trance to enable significant improvements. ‘Letting go’ and immersing yourself in the experience (as you do when you watch a film) is the key. Clinical Hypnosis achieves even greater outcomes if you are prepared to listen to the free recording of the session that I will give you regularly .
Hypnotherapy is not an ‘instant fix’
Many clients will experience improvements following just one session but up to four sessions of hypnotherapy will achieve the greatest benefits (some clients require more sessions, some less). Although it’s powerful, Hypnosis is not a ‘magic wand.’ It is still necessary to practice your new strategies, and to commit to taking long-term action for positive change.
