Body Transformation

It's a unique synthesis of several modalities including Ida Rolf's work (Rolfing) and Postural Integration - the work of Jack Painter.

Past trauma is held in the tissue of the body and can cause contraction, tightness, body pains and inhibited breathing patterns.

Our bodies don't forget trauma, and this work can really help unlock frozen muscle groups and glued up attachments and insertions at junctions of major muscle groups to the skeleton.

This bodywork is more akin to ironing out the muscles rather than kneading the muscles in 'remedial' massage.

There are a series of twelve sessions in Body Transformation. Each session is 75 - 90 mins.

I specialise in deep tissue massage in Bega and the resolution of 'frozen' body patterns. Each session I work with you to understand your whole history and what is going on in your life as well as your body.  The massage table is lower and wider than a normal massage table which allows for more even distribution of my bodyweight to help release the fasica.  This work is excellent for sprotspeople who would like that extra bit of mobility or performance.
