Yoga and Pilates are our extremely popular Wellness Services that TakeASeat provides for the workplace. These modalities can be booked as regular or one-off sessions.
Seated Yoga
This is an innovative and unique way to practice yoga at work. Your staff don’t have to change their clothes or leave their desks. Why not try a class and be known as a progressive industry leader with links to the growing field of Corporate Wellness.

Pilates and Yoga are both ideal modalities to manage this situation.
Laughter Yoga
Take A Seat's Laughter Yoga sessions offer a gentle, convivial workout. This is a new, and dynamic wellness modality and a zany, offbeat corporate activity. The exhilerating routine is founded on the concept that our body's can’t differentiate between fake and authentic laughter. Laughter Yoga sessions are powerful and can often be the catalyst for a healthy feeling of emotional release and influx of good cheer that can last for days.
Laughter Yoga offer greater benefits when carried out in large groups of more than 40 people.

Yoga
The practice of Yoga is a series of postures and breathing techniques that are of assistance in purifying body, mind and spirit. Yoga is more about the journey than the goal and is not a competitive modality.
Yoga helps to develop enhanced awareness of our physical and psychological states, offering those with a regular practice greater clarity, flexibility and consciousness.
PILATES
Pilates was developed in the 1940s by Joseph Pilates, who employed the moves, which are similar to Yoga to rehabilitate WWII soldiers. The moves were adapted for injured dancers and as a result, the Pilates we know today was born.
Pilates trains the small muscles and builds core strength with the aim of improving posture and alignment. Classes are like an intense stretching class with workouts for your abdominal, leg, arm and back muscles.
Take A Seat's Yoga and Pilates classes usually run between 45 - 60 minutes.
