At Strictly Therapeutic we offer a clinical and therapeutic approach to chronic pain management. Our services include relaxation massage and remedial massage encompassing a variety of massage techniques: myofascial release technique, positional release, soft tissue release style utilising muscle pin and stretch, muscle energy technique, deep tissue release with trigger point therapy, and achieve more joint mobility with passive joint articulations, etc. She now offers a wide range of remedial massage techniques which can be used for those clients that prefer a harder massage. 

Our Therapist, Kim is a qualified remedial massage therapist with five years of massage experience and more than 10 years in the field of Health Education. She believes in the simple yet effective application of natural therapies to resolve common muscular and tendon complaints.

Through practical experience during the past 10 months of completing a Diploma in Remedial Massage, she has now acquired remedial massage skills for treating specific muscular complaints. She understands the benefit of providing a relaxation massage sessions for clients and knows how to utilise Swedish Massage techniques to increase blood flow, soften the skin's surface and release muscular tightness due to daily stress and work demands,  leaving you feeling totally calm and renewed afterward.

She is qualified for delivering pregnancy massage to address the needs of both prenatal and postnatal mothers. This specialty massage, conducted in side lying or semi-inclined/supine position to protect the baby and mother, is applied with a nurturing bedside manner and therapeutic touch.

After years of training in Health Education and other modalities, Kim has understood the benefits of combining heat treatments (hydrotherapy) with massage and offers hydrotherapy treatments to clients who are suffering with chronic pain and inflammation. These simple methods for providing natural pain relief, when skilfully applied can effectively reduce chronic pain and settle inflammation.

One common question from people enqiring about what else is offered in this massage service is "Do you have any additional services? In answer we promote the efficacy of utilising hydrotherapy to relieve pain and reduce inflammation. For example, steam fomentations to reduce inflammation, contrast applications of hot and cold fomentations and ice massage. 

Therefore our additional services are for chonic pain clients to experience the effects of hydrotherapy treatments; steam fomentations, contrast applications of hot and cold fomentations and ice massage to reduce inflammation. All these hydrotherapy treatments are 30 min in duration and require additional time, so if you would like to try this approach please allow for a 90 minute appointment.
