Children’s feet should ideally be monitored from birth, so quickly do they change as they grow into adults. Children’s feet are not yet fully formed and as a result have a unique developmental pattern, and are fragile and prone to damage that can be caused by tight shoes and socks.
Many foot problems experienced in adulthood can be prevented or lessened via early intervention during childhood. Bunions, hammer toes, curly toes and flat feet are common foot problems that can be passed down from generation to generation via the genes. The good news for parents is that the effect of these genetic hand-me-downs can be minimised if there is early intervention.
The Podiatrists at Sole Therapy believe in making an effort to prevent foot problems in the next generation by offering advice and management during childhood. Early examinations and intervention are effective preventative measures enabling us to identify or treat potential issues so that your children can go on to lead active and healthy lives.

PLANTAR WARTS
