SKYDANCE YOGA RETREATS

Combine your love of yoga with your creativity in these 3-5 day retreats in the beautiful Daintree Forest Australia and Bali. Take time for yourself in this luxurious immersive experience to feed your body and soul. Commencing November 2019

SKYDANCE 250+ teacher training is a 28 day course, each 10 day module can be completed as a stand alone course for personal/professional development, or say yes to full commitment to yourself and your evolution and enjoy this fantastic creative 28 day journey. Each module includes yoga ballet movement, music, sound, visual arts and poetry, designed to deepen our understanding of flow.

EMBODIED ART ONLINE COURSE

A three month course which offers a yogi the tools and skills to find their way towards their fully expressive embodied creative art practice. A structure of worksheets, journal practice, creative art play, meditation and yoga is provided to support an artists journey to manifesting abundance and freedom of expression.

We will explore the practice of Vinyasa Flow Yoga, as laid down by T Krishnamacharya, the father of modern yoga. To experience flow within a vinyasa, is the sublime unfolding from one note to another, one increasing moment of intensity of a sunrise, one swirling river around a bend, and that is the difference between flow and stagnation. Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a catalyst for transforming old patterns and paradigms of the body, and discovering the creativity within.

LUXURY EMBODIED YOGA AND WELLNESS RETREAT

A luxury wellness yoga retreat, inspired by the celebrated healing waters of the Mossman River. Join us in the Daintree Forest unwind and reconnect on our three day retreat.

Take time to listen to soulful tunes and the sound of the Mossman River, open and strengthen your body and calm your mind, rest and restore.

We will be guided through both morning and evening yoga flows, connect with music, meditation, journal writing and soul art play practice, as well as receiving a customized aroma blend.

Enjoy the resort Treetops Restaurant for a fine dining experience in the rainforest canopy, take a dip in the pool or enjoy a forest walk. Take time to truly relax and recouperate.

250+ YOGA ALLIANCE TEACHER TRAINING

Throughout SKYdance yoga teacher training you will learn the ritual of the yoga class set to a theme, intention, music and specific sequencing to enhance your experience of the yoga asana.

A total of 200 contact hours training in techniques and practices of asanas, pranayamas, mantras, chanting and meditation.

A total of 25 contact hours will be allocated to teaching methodolgy which will cover the subject including the principles of assisting, correcting, teaching styles, and yoga language.

Within your 250hrs teacher training programme you will learn:

  • Foundations of yoga practice
  • The Syrya Namaskara sequences
  • How to modify, assist and teach class
  • Vinyasa methodology
  • The Kramas or stages of asana
  • Sanskrit terminology
  • The full spectrum of vinyasa asanas
  • Pranayama techniques
  • Mudras, Bandhas, Chakras, Mantra
  • Mandala style teaching
  • Slow flow/Chandra rhythms
  • Elemental sequencing
  • Kriyas, ekagrata, pratihara, samadhi
  • Yoga philosophy, lifestyle and ethics
