Maria Karras has over 30 years experience in the professional skin and body therapy industry with a broad and far-reaching career. Starting as a trained therapist with Madame Korner, Maria's roles have also included teacher, sales director and now owner of her own therapy centre, Skin Therapeia.
With advanced knowledge in all aspects of beauty therapy, electrolysis, massage, reflexology, acupressure, pressure point, remedial, aromatherapy, pregnancy massage, stone massage and stress therapy, Maria is an industry authority who has worked with prestigious skincare brands such as Guerlain, La Prairie, Estee Lauder, Clarins and Dermalogica.

During her career as a college lecturer, Maria's passion for education was ignited. This led her to study Human Resource Management and she became a graduate of the Australian Institute of Management in Advanced Facilitation Skills.

Maria is frequently invited to speak on a variety of international platforms. Her dynamic presentations coupled with her engaging manner have influenced therapists worldwide. Maria has also guided the beauty routines of millions of Australians through her advice in magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Instyle, New Woman, Family Circle, and Dolly.
