What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is an ancient Japanese hands-on healing technique. Reiki translates as Universal Life Force Energy and is the art and science of channelling this energy, for the sole purpose of healing an individual or yourself. The ability to heal with Reiki is passed from teacher to student, so even if you've never had a Reiki session before you can enjoy the benefits.

Why Should You Give Reiki a Try?

Reiki heals on all levels (mental, emotional, physical and spiritual), by correcting imbalances, clearing stagnant energy and accelerating the bodies natural healing process. Calming, relaxing and energising, Reiki is a natural treatment for stress, anxiety and pain.

It also promotes wound healing and emotional release, with a treatment also being able to reduce the side effects of some medications. Reiki is complementary to conventional medicine and is completely safe, so it can be used even when harsh medicines and/or treatments are also prescribed.

What To Expect During a Treatment

Reiki is received through a series of light hand placements on the clients fully clothed body. Before your session you will be asked to remove your shoes and lie on a massage table. During your treatment you may experience sensations such as tingling, coolness or heat. Deeply relaxing, this natural therapy often leaves the client so stress-free that they drift off into sleep.

I keep these sessions affordable, as my commitment to you. I charge $50 for a 45min Reiki Treatment.

What is distant Reiki?

In a Distant Reiki session I use the Reiki Symbols to send you Reiki - without having to be physically present. Similar to electricity, mobile phones and wi-fi, Distant Reiki works because energy is not limited by distance.

What to expect?

I will ask for your full name, date of birth and the suburb you are located in - that is enough information for the Reiki energy to find you. We will schedule your three sessions and at the agreed times I will send Reiki to you for 45 min.

What do I need to do?

Reiki is best received lying down, with dimmed lights and relaxing music playing. If this is not possible - you are in crisis - or life simply gets in the way, then just do you best to be open to receive.
