What is Bowen Therapy?
The Bowen technique, a gentle hands on therapy for clients of all ages, from newborns, to the elderly. This technique may offer you healing and often life changing relief from all kinds of pain & mental health issues. Appointments maybe between 40-60 min. I reconmend 3 treatments to start with, over a 3 week time frame. This is to achieve the best results for you from this therapy. On going mataniece is reconmended to keep the body & mind in good shape. Just like you do with your car, good servicing keeps the car going.

How does it work?
The Bowen technique is not massage, acupressure or chiropractic. There is no manipulation, adjustment or force used. Therapists use thumbs and fingers to gently move muscles and tissues sending messages to the nervous system. In between each set of moves the practitioner leaves the room. These pauses make the Bowen treatment unique. This allows the body time to reset & relax, out of the fight or flight mode which a lot of people are constantly in.

Benefits of Bowen therapy
Bowen therapy offers rapid, long-lasting relief from pain and discomfort. Most conditions respond within 2-3 treatments. e.g A "tennis elbow" treatment may enable you to get back to the sport or knitting that  hasn't been able to be achieved in a long time.  Bowen therapy is helpful with "bed wetting". It is a common condition with children, which causes a lot of stress for the child and the family. Bowen is not meant to replace medical treatment, but to work along side medical treatment. Never stop your medications when having treatments, always consult your medical practioner if there are changes to your health.
