Reiki Australia Membership

Reiki Australia welcomes Reiki practitioners, professional treatment practitioners, Reiki Masters, individuals, and organisations interested in Reiki as a spiritual practice and healing art.

Membership Categories

Reiki Practitioner Member

For entry-level professionals. 

Requirements: 

• Treatment logs for the first 12 months
• Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Current First Aid certificate

Reiki Master or Teacher Member

For experienced professionals with established teaching practice. 

Requirements: 

• Professional Indemnity insurance
• First Aid is strongly recommended

Combined and Master or Teacher (ARTP)

Members of this membership category adhere to a higher level of practice. 

Requirements: 

• Treatment logs for the first 12 months
• Current Professional Indemnity insurance
• Current First Aid certificate
• The completion of Unit 1 of Professional Development for Reiki Treatment is required for ARTP membership unless you are qualified and working in another modality of the Health Training Package

Accredited Reiki Treatment Practitioner (ARTP)

Those who hold this membership level are recognised as adhering to a higher standard of practice (Practitioner, Reiki Teacher, Combined, or Master level). 

Requirements: 

• Treatment logs for the first 12 months
• Current Professional Indemnity insurance
• Current First Aid certificate
• The completion of Unit 1 of Professional Development for Reiki Treatment is required for ARTP membership unless you are qualified and working in another modality of the Health Training Package

Associate Member

For those who have been initiated at any level of Reiki (only branches/styles of Reiki that originate from Mikao Usui) and who use it non-professionally, people who use Reiki on friends, family, and/or as a volunteer. 

Non-professional category - not for professionals with public practices.

Honorary Member

Reiki Australia honours members who have contributed substantially to the organisation. Selected members are invited to receive this honour.

Annual dues for the Associate Membership level are waived for honorary members. For higher-level memberships, the member must pay the difference (less Associate fee).

Must meet standard requirements.

Lifetime Membership

Reiki Australia awards life memberships to members who have significant contributions to the organisation. Selected Members are invited to accept this honour.

The membership fee for life members is waived. A life member may be of any membership category as long as he or she still meets the requirements.
