Here at Radiant Chi we provide you with a range of different treatment methods that are based on Chinese medicine philosophies that may provide you with relief for a variety of acute and chronic health conditions.

Acupuncture

An integral component of Chinese medicine where fine and sterile needles are painlessly and gently inserted into the body at carefully selected acu-points to stimulate the body’s innate healing abilities and to restore harmony and balance in the body.

Cupping

Sterile glass cups are applied to the body utilising heat that will bring about suction on the clients skin to remove any stagnation in the body and enhancing the flow of qi across the whole body. Cupping can leave markings on the skin for up to a week after treatment.

Tui Na

Another branch of Chinese medicine that utilises therapeutic massage methods along specific acu-points and meridians to activate the body’s innate ability to heal itself and restore harmony and balance in the body.

Chinese Herbal Formulas

Amongst the oldest forms of health care and another branch of Chinese medicine, utilising patented herbal remedies to restore balance to the entire body.

Moxibustion

Sees the burning of mugwort over specific acupuncture points or needles to warm and to move the qi around the body.

Gua Sha

A method where the skin is scraped to produce light bruising to release any unhealthy elements from the affected/injured areas of the body to enhance the flow of blood and to bring about healing.

Shonishin

A safe and non-invasive Japanese paediatric acupuncture method that has been utilised since the 18th century, that touches the skin along the meridians utilising a metal instrument to restore balance to the body.

Lifestyle, diet & Exercise Therapy Advice
