Rachel is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who specialises in adult individual therapy and couple therapy. She has practiced as a Clinical Psychologist for over 20 years, primarily in a multidisciplinary private practice setting.
Rachel works with a range of issues, including relationships (such as marital or couple relationships, parenting issues and work relationships), depression, anxiety, self-esteem, adjustment to adversity, life phase developmental issues, stress management, trauma, including childhood trauma, psychosomatic difficulties, grief and loss, obesity and its underlying causes, post-natal depression, and the impact of immigration. She also works with clients seeking personal growth and self development.
Rachel has presented publicly on varied topics such as the effects of immigration, both on immigrants and those who are left behind, and the impact of early home environment on later marital relationships. In addition to practicing as a therapist Rachel has provided supervision and trauma debriefing to other psychologists and therapists.
