Holly Bishop:
Holly started her Pilates training in New York while performing as a dancer on Broadway, and has since studied at the Pilates Institute of Australasia and at Pilates International to become a qualified Level IV Instructor.
Over the past 8 years, she has worked at a number of well-respected studios throughout Sydney and is Technical Adviser in the Reformer Courses at the Australian Pilates Academy.
Holly is a classically trained ballet, jazz, & contemporary dancer. In 1998 she travelled around North America for two years performing in the Irish Dance phenomenon “Riverdance”. She also performed on Broadway, for 18 months. Arriving back in Australia, Holly toured with the Wiggles and played the role of the ballerina in the Wiggles Movie.
Joanne Neale:
Joanne has trained in classical ballet and is a Dance Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). She was the founder and Principal Director of Atelier School of Classical Ballet from 2000-2009. To improve her dance teaching Joanne began Pilates training with the APMA President, Donna Oliver at her Wollongong Pilates Studio in 2006. After becoming a qualified instructor she worked at the Wollongong Pilates Studio with rehabilitation and fitness clients in both mat and equipment based programs.
Joanne continues to teach dance at various dance schools in addition to being a Pilates Instructor. She passionately continues to extend her knowledge of pilates, rehabilitation and safe dance techniques by attending workshops around the world and drawing on her experiences to provide safe and effective instruction to her pilates clients.
Courtney Solomon:
Courtney is a professionally trained classical ballet dancer who began Pilates training as an excellent supplement for both her strength and flexibility needs. She has danced competitively for more than 10 years in various dance festivals in Australia and overseas. Having recently completed her HSC in 2012, Courtney resulted in a high band five for contemporary dance and choreographic work.
Having also been involved in competitive swimming from a young age, Courtney was awarded the victor ludorum for 2 consecutive years and continued to swim interstate for national swim meets. She believes that her involvement in sporting activities has provided a great background in her current training abilities and discipline.
Aimee Regan:
Aimee is a professionally trained dancer having performed in Australia, America and England. She is an Advanced Member of The Royal Academy of Dance and has trained in Classical and Contemporary Dance at EV & Bow Dance School, under the guidance of Sarah Boulter, a choreographer on the TV show “So You Think You Can Dance”. Aimee was also cast as Victoria in the musical “Cats”. Throughout her practice she has looked to Pilates as a fantastic complimentary training method for preventing the injuries she often experienced prior to starting classes. Aimee is now fully qualified in both Mat and Reformer Pilates and is a valued member of our team.
