Pilates for Reducing Injuries & Pain (Claiming Physio & Pilates)

If you have a history or current injury/sore areas that we need to know about, you are required to start with the Introductory Physiotherapy Assessment (you cannot claim Physio benefits without attending an Assessment). This assessment allows us to learn about you and your body, we undertake a postural assessment, go through your injury history/sore bits and discuss your goals. The initial assessment also includes detailed instruction of pilates breathing, core and pelvic floor activation, to ensure you are activating correctly in class. How to start Group Classes

At Physique Pilates Adelaide our classes are different, we run small group mat classes with a maximum of 8 per class. More attentive and individualised than the gym, more creative and interesting than physio pilates and more accessible than equipment pilates. We know each client’s injury history and goals, and due to our small class sizes we are able to vary exercises for clients, ensuring no aggravations to injuries you are trying rehabilitate. You are also able to claim your classes on Pilates classes and Physio group classes.

Pilates classes for all stages of Pregnancy

We run prenatal pilates for Mums-to-be, Mums+Bubs pilates for pre-walking bubs and postnatal pilates classes for Mums to work on her pelvic floor with no interuption. We recommend starting prenatal pilates from 12 weeks(prior to then you can do normal pilates classes) and start pilates a minimum of 6 weeks after birth.
