About
Peta completed a Bachelor of Education at Deakin University in 1990. After several years of travelling and teaching, she returned to tertiary education for further study. She completed her undergraduate psychology degree at Melbourne University in 1997 before completing her honours year at Monash University in 1998. Peta then went on to complete her Doctorate of Counselling Psychology at Swinburne University, and Clinical Psychology studies at James Cook University.
Peta's doctoral thesis examined the relationship between adult romantic attachment styles, in association with relationship satisfaction, conflict behaviours and relationship perception.
In 2001 Peta completed extensive training with the Australian Hypnosis Society, completed a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis is 2013 and continues to be a member of the Society.
