I work from the heart and I'm passionate about helping children and adults feel empowered, confident individuals who can achieve their dreams. I wanted to create a nurturing space to give people the chance to explore and express themselves in a safe environment and to teach them skills to cope with life's challenges and to find solutions to problems.

I worked as a Rudolf Steiner teacher for 8 years, in 2001 I was nominated for the National Excellence in Teaching Award. Seeing the need to further my education to work with children and parents, I obtained my Diploma through the Australian Institute of Professional Counselling.

I ran support groups within schools to assist children experiencing social and emotional difficulties. I went on to study further and created a "Life Skills Program" for kids.

An interest in natural therapies led me to study EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Metaphysical Healing, Art and Sandplay Therapy, Reiki and Bush Flower Essences.
