Bowen Therapy was developed in Australia in the 1950s by Tom Bowen, and is a very gentle, non invasive therapy which targets key dynamic points of the body sending signals along the neuromuscular pathways to the brain. These signals assist the body to restore balance. This therapy enables imbalances to be re-aligned and congestion relieved, allowing optimal healing and symmetry for that person at a muscular-skeletal level.

Bowen Therapy not only works on all the physical systems of the body but also on emotional, mental and energetic levels too. It is a holistic therapy, which addresses the cause of a problem, not just the symptoms.

About Evelyn

Evelyn is an experienced, qualified and registered practitioner who is passionate about her work with Bowen Therapy.

Evelyn has had a lot of success with her treatments and is completely committed to this gentle Therapy. She thoroughly enjoys her interaction with her clients who range from the very young (new born babies) to the aging (90+). Their problems have ranged from muscular and skeletal, arthritis, sciatica, head/jaw, birthing issues to regular maintenance “tuneup” treatments and so much more.

Evelyn offers a mobile service because people are more relaxed in their own environment and do not have to travel after a treatment. She operates in Mackay and all the surrounding areas. This includes the Northern Beaches, Sarina, Sarina Beach areas, the Pioneer Valley areas, Hay Point/Louisa Creek, The Leap and Seaforth areas, Kuttabul etc, etc. She charges a basic rate with additional travelling costs and expenses where applicable.
