What Is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is part of the ancient system of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which has been in use for thousands of years in China and other parts of East Asia.

Acupuncture is a drug-free healing modality with very few side effects, that treats the symptoms of disease and health conditions as well as the root cause

It is able to be used as a preventive measure against disease and illness, as well as a form of maintenance for general well-being

Laser Acupuncture

Scared of the needles? Try

Low level (therapeutic) laser acupuncture has been in use as a form of acupuncture treatment in Australia for approximately 40 years.

Essentially the same as traditional Acupuncture, Laser acupuncture uses a laser instead of needles. The laser stimulates the acupuncture points or acupoints in the same way needle stimulation would - without the needles.

Cosmetic Acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture offers a natural alternative to surgical treatments and botox injections.

Chinese Facial Rejuvenation dates back to 770BC - in TCM, beauty treatments are closely related to health treatments because practitioners treat the whole body not the parts in isolation.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is an extremely relaxing approach to beauty and aims to reduce the visible signs of aging as well as improving overall body function.

Fine needles are placed near wrinkles, encouraging the micro-circulation to the face.

Cupping

Cupping involves the use of glass or plastic cups being applied to soft tissue using a suction method.
Cupping is used to treat a variety of conditions, including:

  • Back pain
  • Shoulder tightness
  • Chest problems
  • Sporting Injuries
  • Joint pain
