Our Breathing Space is a Pilates, Yoga and Barre studio in Cammeray, New South Wales, designed to help you still your mind, strengthen your body and regulate your breathing patterns. We offer small group personalised sessions in person or online, to help each client achieve their personal wellness journey.
Whether you are new to practice or an advanced mover, or if you are post surgery, or pre/ post natal, we are ready to support you in line with your personal goals and needs.
Our approach is holistic, with the goal of supporting both mind and body.
About Pilates
The Pilates method, which was developed by Joseph Pilates, promotes a harmonious relationship between muscles and joints, as well as between body and mind.

Classes Available
Group Reformer, Yoga & Barre
Goal-oriented group sessions are intended to be energising and restorative in a welcoming community setting.
All of your muscles will be strengthened and stretched in our Pilates, Yoga and Barre classes. With a typical client-to-instructor ratio of six to one, the small group sizes allow for individual attention to each client's form and technique development.
Our group classes are appropriate for both beginners and advanced students, with progressions and regressions in all sessions to ensure that you are both supported and challenged.
Bumps N Bubs Reformer & Barre
These sessions allow you to connect with other new or expecting parents while also connecting with your body. The class focuses on postural awareness, strengthening deep abdominals and developing pelvic floor control.
Our classes are appropriate until birth (unless otherwise advised by your healthcare practitioner) and about six weeks post birth (please obtain a letter of clearance from your healthcare provider).
You are welcome to bring your bub to class and hold them through class/ take breaks as needed to care for them.
Private Sessions
Private sessions are tailored to the specific needs of each individual. They allow you to expand your knowledge of the Pilates technique and build awareness about how your own body works. Each session will be tailored to the client's specific needs, taking into account personal goals and limitations.
All private sessions will make use of the entire studio Pilates equipment, including the cadillac, reformer, wunda chair, and other props that are suitable for each person.
Semi Private Studio Sessions
Our semi-private studio sessions have a four-to-one client-to-instructor ratio and are tailored to each individual. Attending will help you learn more about Pilates and improve your proprioception.
All semi-private sessions will make use of the entire studio Pilates equipment, including the cadillac, reformer, wunda chair, and other props that are suitable for each person.
Duet Studio Sessions
Duet sessions are an excellent way to connect with a friend while also nurturing your body. These sessions are created with the needs of each individual in mind.
All duet sessions will make use of the full range of studio pilates equipment, such as the cadillac, wunda chair, reformer, and other props that are suitable for each person.
Private Bookings
Private bookings for the workplace, the home, and special events are available. The length and structure of the session will be tailored to the group or individual.
