About Us

The name "Nuwa" comes from the goddess of ancient Chinese Mythology who is best known for creating mankind and repairing the pillar of heaven.

With a solid base in Chinese Acupuncture, Nuwa epitomises the mission of the clinic - to repair the fundamental pillars of wellbeing in the body and create balance and harmony; mentally, spiritually and physically.

About Jessica

I am a registered, trained and qualified Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturist practitioner. After graduating in 2011 I decided to take my practice overseas to Europe, Central America, the Middle East and Asia. I was able establish my own clinic in England and for the past 3 years have been treating a variety of conditions using Herbs and Massage, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

During my career I have always had a passion and interest in fertility and women’s health, which I have luckily been given numerous opportunities to develop my skills and understanding. I moved back to Australia in late 2015 and am excited to be working in my own practice focusing on fertility, IVF and pregnancy acupuncture. I am currently completing my Masters in reproductive medicine as this is a strong passion of mine. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Health Science // Acupuncture (2011)


• Graduate certificate in Women’s Health Medicine (2016)


• Masters of Reproductive Medicine (2016 ongoing)


• Cert IV in Fitness Pilates


• Cert IV in Massage Therapy
