Renee realised in high school she wanted to help people live healthier lives. It was then that she became a dietitian.
Throughout her university education and various career experiences in hospitals, private practices and community health centres, she found she was using food to cope with her emotions. Ironically, she was a dietitian who had a dysfunctional relationship with food.
Ashamed, Renee kept this a secret. When she was stressed, depressed, anxious or felt unworthy, she helped manage these emotions through food. It became her only means of coping.
Then, she came to realise the immense power of learning to love herself. With this new way of thinking and incorporating some powerful techniques in her life, including eating from a loving place and Emotional Freedom Techniques, her entire life changed.
Renee wants you to experience this way of life too! She provides consultations at her Ballina, NSW clinic or online via Skype or Zoom.

Dietary and Nutrition Consultations
In this one-hour appointment, Renne will assess your nutrition and help you set and reach your health goals.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT or tapping powerfully combines psychotherapy and acupressure that is especially effective in treating food cravings, comfort eating, exercise resistance, obesity and poor eating habits.
Studies have shown weight loss is often detrimental over the long term, so rather than just focusing on weight loss, EFT principles promote healthier habits, holistic health improvement, and acceptance of your natural weight, size, and shape.
A key aspect of EFT tapping is its permanence and its speed. As you progress toward your health goals, your changes are permanent.
How does it work?
When you tap on meridian points or acupressure points, you calm your nervous system. Tapping calms the amygdala, the part of the brain responsible for flight or fight responses.
Tapping can reduce stress and allow you to make better decisions regarding your life and health. If you tap while you tune into that health issue or food you crave, you are using exposure therapy and essentially tapping those feelings right out to boot!
