Welcome to New Ways to FitNESS.
My name is Denise Ness and I am a qualified Personal Trainer, Pilates instructor and Massage Therapist.
I am registered with Fitness Australia.
I retired from my day to day corporate employment to follow my passion of health and fitness.
I have successfully completed the course: "Exercise and the Older Person" as I am passionate about maintaining health and fitness as we age... I do not believe age is or should be a barrier. In fact, I believe it is very important to keep moving as we age to maintain our quality of life and continue to relish the lifestyle we enjoy.
I understand the importance of keeping up to date with new information, hence my desire to continue to learn and develop; ensuring clients are kept up to date with the latest data.
My passion is assisting and encouraging others to maintain correct posture and flexibility through movement. I am keen to have the opportunity to talk to people and assist them in meeting their individual goals in all aspects of health and fitness such as strength, cardio, flexibility, mobility, balance and posture while having fun and feeling great!!
Classes are small to enable individual attention and last for 50 minutes. All classes and exercises are able to be modified to ensure all fitness levels are addressed.
The room is small and intimate allowing for a non-threatening workout with a personal touch added.

Pilates Classes
Pilates is an integrated system of exercises that focuses on developing core strength and stability and improving posture and spinal alignment.
Personal Training
Personal training is the best way to reach your fitness goals and stay on track. I am committed to working with my clients to tailor individual programs to best suit your needs. Injuries are taken into account when making an individual program, so no need to not train because of restrictions. Personal training sessions are also a great way to integrate different aspects of fitness into one dynamic session.
Strength Classes
Want to reduce body fat, increase lean muscle mass and burn calories more efficiently? Then strength training is for you. Classes involve using hand weights, resistance bands and balls to improve strength and overall health and fitness for all ages.

Circuit / Boxing
Classes involve a circuit including the use of Bosu, Weights, Rip60, core exercises, cardio drills and boxing. Each week the class is different so your body is always being challenged.
Fitness boxing allows you to develop superior upper body strength, quickness and agility, cardiovascular fitness, and improved posture all at the same time. Boxing is also a great form of stress relief. You’ll get an intense workout and improve your core strength and you will love every single minute of it!

Massage
Massage is a general term for pressing, rubbing and manipulating your skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments. Massage may range from light stroking to deep pressure. Massage is an effective treatment for reducing stress, pain and muscle tension, some studies have found massage may also be helpful for Anxiety and digestive disorders.
