What can Hypnotherapy do for me?
The majority of psychological interventions have a focus on altering patterns or thoughts consciously, but it's the subconscious mind that has control of involuntary body functions, including habits and the things that we find ourselves doing ‘automatically’.
Hypnotherapy works because it prompts the subconscious mind, bypassing the self-talk we have put in place to as a defense mechanism.
How does it work?
Your hypnotherapist will talk you through a process that enables you to become so relaxed that, with their gentle guidance, you will be able to put in place the changes you desire.
Hypnotherapy can assist you to regain control of your life and release unwanted behaviors or help you to manage anxiety or pain better. Even though you're more open to suggestion when under hypnosis, you won't be in a position where you lose control over your behaviour or do anything that you don't want to do.
Clinical Hypnotherapy can be of assistance in ascertaining your sub-conscious beliefs and desires, enabling you to align your conscious beliefs with your subconscious mind.
