Testimonials
Jim Brooks – Greystanes
72 years of age Upon joining New Dimensions 3 years ago, my health had deteriorated quite badly. I had been diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure and obstructive sleep apnea. All of these problems had stemmed from being inactive for so many years. Since joining New Dimensions my health has improved drastically. I am no longer overweight and inactive and now my Diabetes and Hypertension is under control.
Sandra & Graham Barber – Kellyville
Early 60’s
My husband and I are in our early 60’s and like lots of people our age we have been too busy living our lives to take notice of ourselves. We have finally woken up and realised, after a number of health issues raised their heads i.e. Diabetes, Arthritis, High blood pressure and weight gain, that exercise was the key to forestalling these degenerative problems. Graham and I both joined New Dimensions on the advice of our doctor rather than a normal run of the mill gym. The service here is different it is more specialised, where you can feel comfortable in your own skin, no matter how bad we feel about ourselves, the trainers here make you feel better. It is assuring we know we are monitored at all times, this is very important if you have Heart, Diabetic or blood pressure problems. We gain confidence in our abilities. This comes from the trainers ability to know just what we are able to do. We have developed a trusting relationship with our trainers, it may hurt but we are hurting without the exercise, in fact we are killing ourselves as time passes, this is why it was so important for Graham and I to start an exercise program. We have lost weight and have become fitter and healthier and, whatever problems that may arise, the staff at New Dimensions have managed to work around it. Fears held us back from starting, thank goodness we have managed to throw them fears out of the window. Thanks New Dimensions!

I had the pleasure of joining New Dimensions gym approximately two and a half years ago. In this time I have improved my fitness level, lost 16 Kilos and formed some great friendships. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff have been supportive and with their help and guidance. I have managed to reach goals far beyond my expectations…

I love New Dimensions Gym! It’s great for my self confidence that the other clients are just like me – ordinary people with a few extra pounds, none of those skinny young things to show me up. I’ve had sessions with 5 of the personal trainers, and they are all great. They have just the right attitude to keep me coming back, and they tailor my program to suit my abilities and needs. I drove past at least 3 other gyms to go to New Dimensions because it is everything a gym should be: small, friendly and welcoming, with all the classes, machines and personal trainers you need to change your body and your life. I’ve still got a way to go, but I’ve managed to gain fitness and lost a few kilos. Now, if only they could do something about my wrinkles.

I have been at New Dimensions Wellness for almost 4 years now. I have never been to a gym before but now I am hooked! I love the atmosphere at the gym and friendly people in the group fitness classes. It makes exercising go much quicker. With the combination of exercise and diet modification I have lost 12kgs. I feel and look much better and could not have done it without the support of New Dimensions Wellness.

“I was encouraged to join New Dimensions Wellness by my wife about 1 year ago. Since then, I have increased my physical activity and I am now participating in up to 3 group fitness classes per week. I have lost 14kgs through the use of exercise and diet modification over the past few months, which has resulted in improvements in my blood pressure and cholesterol. I am now completely off my blood pressure medication and my blood pressure continues to remain stable.”

“I’ve been going to New Dimensions Wellness for just over 3 years – the longest I’ve ever stuck to an exercise regime. I love the friendly atmosphere and the staff are terrific. I’m not ashamed to tell people that, even though I’m a bit “over the hill” I have a fitness age of a 40 year old; because of the great exercise program I get from my personal trainer at New Dimensions Wellness. At my age I don’t like going to some of those big gyms where you have to try and compete with the spandex, Botox, body building crowd but at New Dimensions I feel very comfortable amongst others my age who are just trying to stay healthy. I’m very grateful to Jad, and the New Dimensions Wellness staff, for maintaining such a facility where everyone (staff and member) is like family and, even though most of us don’t want to exercise, we keep going because it’s fun.”

“Working as a massage therapist, my job is quite physical and after a days work, used to leave me with throbbing headaches and feeling drained. After a few weeks with my personal trainer at New Dimensions, strengthening my back and neck muscles, I have been able to increase my daily work load, and have hardly any pain after work. The team at New Dimensions are friendly and supportive, and I look forward to going every week!”
