MyoSpray Myotherapy

Summary

I have been a Clinical Myotherapist for 30 years now, having commenced my professional career learning the myofascial techniques from American therapists whilst working at MyoMed with Dr John Whiteside and Dr Simon Torvaldsen.  I graduated from Curtin University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science (Human Biology/Molecular Genetics) and then commenced to also work as an academic alongside my clinical work.  I have taught undergraduate health science units, whilst also lecturing in myofascial pain to various health professional groups.  Currently, I continue to work clinically treating myofascial pain, TMJ Dysfunction in particular and lecture in Biosciences and Myotherapy at Endeavour College, Perth campus.

Expertise

Clinically,my expertise is in the field of myofascial pain, specifically TMJ Dysfunction.  From a treatment perspective, I have expertise in the Travell and Simon's technique of Stretch and Spray, which I have now began calling "MyoSpray".
