Tai Chi originated in ancient China and is practised increasingly in the West as a means of stress management and exercise. Tai Chi can help a range of disorders including anxiety, stress, arthritis, fatigue and joint stiffness. It can also improve posture, flexibility and strength. This form of exercise is appropriate for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Tai Chi uses traditional combat and self-defence skills in order to improve concentration. The movements are gentle, slow, graceful and controlled, which are meditative, enabling a clear, calm mind.
Tai Chi focuses and stimulates the body’s natural energy -‘Chi’- circulation. This ‘chi’ keeps the body fit and healthy.
Qi Gong is a mental and physical discipline involving slow controlled joint and muscle movements with mindful breathing and added visualization.

Mindful Movement
Wellbeing for the mind, body and spirit
Mindful Movement combines a blend of movement modalities, incorporating a holistic approach that embraces wellbeing for our mind, body and spirit.
Mindful Movement are a series of movements, combining ChiBall, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Dance, allowing you to enjoy your body, breath and physical sensations of moving while cultivating mindfulness. The movements are gentle, slow, graceful, flowing, relaxed and controlled, focusing on the individual’s sense of wellbeing, balance and self-awareness, leading to a more satisfying way of life.
Mindful Movements, practiced regularly, will benefit your health and wellbeing and increase your overall fitness, bringing an increase in strength, flexibility, mobility, balance and awareness of your body. It will enable a clear, calm mind and nourishment for your soul.

ChiBall
Focus on harmony, balance and wellbeing
ChiBall is a holistic, mind-body, well-being program, which combines the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), colour and aromatherapies and a synergy of exercise modalities to promote harmony, balance and well-being. ChiBall originated in South Australia in 1997 and has since spread to over 40 countries.
The movement is based on a blend of Tai Chi, Qi Gong, ChiBall Dance, Yoga, Pilates, Moshe Feldenkrais Method and relaxation. The ChiBall method helps develop skills across the six modalities in order to target rejuvenation, breathing, mobility, flexibility, concentration, strength, deep breathing and relaxation.
ChiBalls are infused with different mood oils and used as a way to create a focus for the mind as part of the movement sequence. For example, the ChiBall is held in the hand during Chiball dance routines and standing yoga postures to intensify concentration and sensation. This challenges core stabilization, and acts as a massage and relaxation tool. The ChiBall workout is gentle and controlled with flowing movements.
