At Mosaic Therapy our focus is to offer services to support individuals across the life spectrum.
Working with children 0-9, their families/carers and a carefully chosen team of allied health professionals, I provide early childhood intervention through the NDIS Key Worker role . This role oversees the integration for early childhood intervention through a coordinated therapeutic approach. As an experienced therapist and Special Education teacher, I have a strong understanding of development delay and support needed to thrive in the early education years.
Offering Interplay - Play Therapy and Art Therapy through Mosaic Therapy supports individuals to safely express thoughts and emotions through a range of creative activities.
Play Therapy provides individuals, family groups, parent/s and child the opportunity to reconnect, reintegrate and develop their connections for a stronger, healthier relationship with self and others. Play Therapy sessions are held in Mosaic Therapy's designed play space. Mobile sessions can be provided if required.
Art Therapy and counselling sessions are offered in person or online, allowing individuals, couples or groups the options to participate. Art Therapy offers a gentle, creative approach to uncovering previously untapped experiences and emotions and provides opportunities to communicate in alternative ways. This process can help with a range of psychological, emotional and physical conditions including past trauma and relationship experiences, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, stress and low self esteem. Creative or artistic ability is NOT a requirement when working with Art Therapy, being open and willing to participate in the process is more beneficial.
Art therapy is a great tool for relationship building with groups and work teams, developing trust and acceptance of individual strengths and differences.
Individual, parent/child, family and group sessions are available. Plan-managed and Self-managed NDIS participants are catered for through Mosaic Art + Therapy. Contact me for more information and to schedule your first session.
