Our Story Before and After Ayurveda

Hello there. Nice to meet you (virtually). We’re Madeleine and Dani of Modern Ayurvedic in Adelaide. 

We met during our studies towards an Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda, ultimately travelling to India together to do our final placements in Ayurvedic hospitals there.

We’re best friends. Soul sisters. Co-directors and co-practitioners. We balance each other, even in our Doshas. Madeleine (blonde pixie) is the Vata/Pitta, and Dani (brunette) the Kapha/Pitta.

We are both Ayurvedic practitioners, with different roles within MA. You’ll find Madeleine in clinic; consulting, treating, prescribing custom formulations and tailoring treatment plans. Madeleine loves people, connection, and mentoring. Dani is part scientist, part Ayurvedic practitioner - giving her a profound view on Ayurveda, modern science, and how they work in sync. Dani is our resident herbalist and online My Alchemy practitioner. ⁠⠀

⁠We each have our before and after (Ayurveda) stories, but they are actually quite similar. Ultimately it was profound wisdom of Ayurveda that guided us on our journey to healing.
