YOGA AND MEDITATION FOR ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION WORKSHOP
This workshop offers participants a range of strategies for dealing with depression and anxiety. Psychologist, NeLi Martin will guide you through a program of asana, pranayama and meditation.
The workshop is designed to connect you to your purpose and open your heart to what is calling out to you in life. You will learn how to re-wire your anxiety by activating your relaxation response, which in turn enables a re-frame on the stress response.
The Yoga and Meditation for Anxiety and Depression Workshop employs mindfulness techniques to help participants deal with the ups and downs of daily life.

ABOUT THE RETREAT
Meditation provides us with a direct path to discover inner peace and cultivate a boundless heart.
The retreat will involve sitting, standing, moving and lying down mindful and other meditation practices drawn from a secular Buddhist Dharma approach.
This is an opportunity to learn, explore and deepen the profound and transformative practices of loving kindness (metta) and insight (vipassana).
The Mindfulness and Kindness Retreat will involve periods of silence in support of deep rest and self- nurturing. There will also be short Dharma talks and meditation instruction.
All activities will be scheduled for support and optional to allow for individual needs.
The retreat is suitable for individuals who are new to Meditation practice, as well as those with experience.
NeLi combines her Psychology training with many years of Buddhist Dharma Mindfulness study and practice, together with Yoga Teaching and practice. She teaches from a secular Dharma approach, guided by Stephen Batchelor. Read more about this approach here.
