WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki, is a Japanese word (pronounced ReyKey) which is translated to mean universal life force energy. It is a very simple system of healing carried out by placing hands on or over a person with the intent to channel universal life force energy.

Reiki is profound in its ability to heal on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level promoting the flow of life force energy and encourages the bodys natural healing process.

Reiki allows you to become a channel for the universal energy to flow through, thus receiving and transmitting healing to others.

The benefits of Reiki can be all-empowering, not only giving us the ability to heal ourselves and others which by itself is deeply meaningful, but also bring guidance to our lives.


HISTORY Of REIKI

Dr. Mikao Usui, born in Japan in the mid eighteenth century rediscovered Reiki. This does not mean that Reiki is Japanese, nor does it belong to any particular religion or country. It is universal.

Dr. Usui was extremely interested in healing the sick, he was instructed to go to the holy mountain of KuramaYama in his home country. There he meditated, fasted and followed the directions to contact the Healing Power.

During a mystical experience he received the ability to pass Reiki on to others.

His method was simple, flexible and intuitive.


REIKI TRAINING

Much like Dr. Usui, the foundation of my method of teaching Reiki is to also keep it as simple, flexible and intuitive as possible.

It is important to be attuned by a Reiki Master /Teacher who you feel comfortable and guided to train with.
Workshops will be conducted on an ongoing basis. It is usually a most enjoyable and transforming day.



ATTUNEMENTS

Reiki One

Once you have been attuned to Reiki by a Reiki Master / Teacher you become a channel to transmit the energy via the hands.

following the attunements to First Degree Reiki, you will be empowered to channel the life force energy. All you need to do to activate it, is to place your hands on whoever or whatever needs it and the Reiki energy will flow wherever it is needed. It is not the giver who heals but the Reiki energy.

Reiki Two

The Second Degree enables the Reiki channel to increase the power of Reiki healing as well as sending distant healing using Reiki symbols.

Reiki Three

When we are ready for the Third Degree (Master / Teacher level) attunement, we are making a commitment to the spiritual evolution of ourselves and others on this planet.

Most people find after a Reiki treatment they feel lighter and more relaxed, as the Reiki energy encourages one to let go of all tension, anxiety, fear and unwanted feelings to enable the experiencing of a state of well-being.

Reiki is beneficial for treating the cause of many ailments.

Reiki can accelerate recovery from surgery and can be used in conjunction with many other therapies.

Acute conditions and sudden illnesses will respond much quicker than chronic conditions will, as they have been of long standing duration and need more Reiki to bring harmony within the body.

BEACH THERAPY

I welcome you to experience Beach Therapy, a journey of spiritual awakening achieved through a combination of Reiki, meditation and the healing energy of water.

Beach therapy is beneficial for the release of stress and reconnecting with your inner guide, this is the place where we can find true guidance and bring clarity to any situation our lives present.

Water is the life force of majestic nature, by breathing in its positive energy we are able to transform ourselves into a positive state of being.

Meditation trains the mind to be in the present moment, by stilling and calming the thoughts we gain clarity and insight.

PROGRAM
walk to semaphore jetty, meditate, come back meditate and receive 15 min or more of Reiki depending on size of group, groups can be from 1 to 4 people.
