How Many Sessions Will You Need?

Depending on your specific situation, the number of sessions may vary. However, on average, a client will visit a counsellor for 3 to 8 sessions. 

You may also decide to engage in additional treatment depending on your concern or if you so desire.

The number of sessions you need will always be your decision and is usually based on how beneficial you are finding your therapy.

Fees and Rebates

You will find that our rates for counselling are well below those recommended by the Australian Counselling Association. 

You may also be able to claim back a portion of your Counselling session costs with Medicare with a current GP referral in the form of a Mental Health Care Plan. 

Be sure to check your extras cover with your insurer as your private health insurance may also cover psychological services.
