How acupuncture helps the treatment of infertility and assisted conception

Acupuncture encourages a healthy body, functioning efficiently.. Acupuncture can increase blood flow to the reproductive organs and improves the functioning of the endocrine system, all of which support reproductive health. It also reduces stress, which can play a significant role in the wider process of conception, improving both the pregnancy rate and birth rate.

During pregnancy
Acupuncture is also very useful during pregnancy, keeping the body in balance as the hormones are changing. This greatly increases the chance of keeping the baby in those couples who tend to miscarry. Also, acupuncture is used to assist the body in turning a breech baby around.
