Initial consultation

THE FIRST STEP is your initial consultation. This is a very detailed analysis and assessment, using traditional Chinese medicine methods to assess your overall body balance along with discussing your current health concerns. The aim is to identify the cause of the problem and treat that, not just the symptoms. We also look at any other treatments and medications you may be taking, and how treatment can complement and supplement them.

TREATMENT PLAN: I will then prepare and discuss with you a treatment plan with you based on traditional Chinese medicine techniques including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and herbal medicine, nutrition and exercise.

THE INITIAL CONSULTATION takes about one and a half hours, including your first treatment session.

Treating a wide range of conditions

Infertility:
male and female fertility, both natural conception and IVF support.

Women's health:
including period pain, amenorrhea, menopause, fertility, premenstrual tension, period problems, abnormal uterine bleeding or discharge, hormonal disturbances, prolapse of the uterus or bladder.

Neurological issues:
including headache, migraines, stroke, difficulty sleeping, chronic fatigue, bell's palsy

Musculoskeletal issues:
including arthritis, sciatica, low back pain, neck, shoulder and knee pain, cervicobrachial syndrome, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and heel spur.

Sporting injuries:
including sprained ankles and knee, cartilage problems, corking and tearing of muscles, torn ligaments and bruises

Skin isues:
including acne, eczema, psoriasis, shingles, rosacea, alopecia, neurodermatitis, scar tissue healing. Also cosmetic acupuncture for facial brightening.

Respiratory conditions:
including bronchial asthma, acute and chronic bronchitis, acute tonsillitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, hay fever, chronic cough, laryngitis, sore throat, influenza and the common cold.

Psychological conditions:
including depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, nervousness and addictions such as smoking and alcohol addiction.

Qualifications

Mei has studied and worked in both Beijing and Sydney

M(Ac) Acupuncture | M(HM) Herbal Medicine | Dip (TCM)

In Beijing Mei majored in Chinese medicine.
In Australia she completed a Master of Herbal Medicine at the University of Sydney and a Master of Acupuncture at the University of Western Sydney.
