Focus areas
Eating/Drinking
It is best to let meals & snacks digest before coming to class. If you need to eat something small before class choose something that’s easily digestible like fruit. Don’t turn up starving! You may drink water throughout the class, but you may feel more comfortable if you hydrate prior to class.
What to wear
Please wear comfortable, stretchy clothes that are not too loose.
Bring
Your own yoga mat if you have one or use one of ours. Bring a small hand towel (good if it’s hot or to cushion knees). Water. All other props are provided.
Get there early
Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in, fill out a new student form, get changed if necessary and set up.
After you arrive
Take off your shoes and socks. They can be left by the door. Turn your phone off or on airoplane mode. Vibrating photos can seem quite loud in a quiet room!
Communication
If you have any injuries, illnesses or are pregnant please let me know before the start of the class so I can help you stay safe.
Class Cancellations
Very occasionally class needs to be cancelled as we share the space at the church. Any class cancellations will be posted in advance on the Public Classes @ Local Yoga Fairfield page and all registered students will be contacted. Thankyou.
Hot weather
If the weather is very hot the class will be moved into the actual church which joins onto the hall. I will put a sign up outside if this is the case and contact all registered students.
