Linda graduated from University of Western Sydney with a Bachelor of Health Science/Masters in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Throughout her six year years of study, She has been fortunate enough to have worked with and been mentored by many well known professionals in the industry both in Australia and in China. She specialise in complementary cancer and post operative care, and have had great success in the treatment of:
- Pain (post surgery and arthritic)
- Numbness
- Scar reduction
- Loss of appetite
- Fatigue
- Hernias
Her treatments are results driven and usually combine different modes of therapy for maximum effect. She believes that patients should take control of their own health, so all her patients will receive training on how to maintain therapeutic effects through prescribed massage techniques, life style changes and exercise.
She is glad to be given the opportunity to provide her services to you and appreciate your trust in my skills and experience. My aim is to help you find balance and wellbeing, in a way that is best suited to you.
Following are the different modalities that may be used during treatment:
ACUPUNCTURE
A well known and popular technique for pain management, it involves manipulating the flow of 'qi' within the body through inserting fine needles into certain points in the body.
GUASHA & CUPPING
A unique combination of two techniques that is very effective in treating numbess, scarring and improving range of movement.
HERBAL MEDICINE
Herbal medicine traditionally involves the use of raw herbs boiled in water for a period of time, with the subsequent broth reduced to concentrate the active ingredients which is then consumed as a liquid decoction. While raw herbs continue to be used in contemporary practice, a range of other options for taking herbal medicine are also available.
DIET THERAPY
Like herbs, food has therapeutic effects that can be harnessed to complement the treatments you are receiving.
