Lifecoaching
Life Coaching investigates three fundamental life questions: who am I, what am I capable of and what do I want? The goal of this investigation is to increase your overall happiness. A life coach helps you to shape your own life based on your deepest desires and talents. Life Coaching helps you to reflect on past experiences and stimulate strategies to take charge of designing your life. Special attention is given to the balance between work and leisure, increasing self-confidence, stress management, communication skills, developing talents, coordinating career planning with life planning, improving relationships and developing a positive vision of the future.The primary goal of Life Coaching is deepening your life’s happiness.
Psychodynamic therapy
This approach is based on the premise that human behavior and relationships are shaped by conscious and unconscious influences.Given that, at every point in therapy we are asking, "What does it mean that this person, with their unique history and concerns, is doing or saying this particular thing at this time? How might their past experiences be impacting their life now? What are the unspoken expectations and underlying beliefs that are limiting their potential for satisfaction?"
Our conversations will be designed to assist you in answering these questions.
Psychodynamic therapy aims to help you become aware and understand the deeper meanings of your behavior and feelings, as well as your needs. Through knowing and understanding the reasons for feeling, thinking, and behaving in a certain way, you will gain insight, learn and become aware of more positive approaches.
Hypnotherapy
Modern hypnotherapy is very different to classical hypnosis where you go into a very deep state of trance and remember very little of what happens during the session. Modern Hypnotherapy, contrary to popular misconceptions (due to the use of the prefix 'hypno'), is not an authoritarian form of mind control in a trance-like state. You are alert, always have a choice and self control, and you will be empowered by accessing your own inner resources and healing ability rather than simply obeying a command. Modern hypnotherapy works with a type of trance which is simply a combination of relaxation and focussed attention. This can be compared to daydreaming and is a natural experience which you have undoubtedly have had yourself. For example when you relax by reading a book or by watching a film and the story captures your entire attention and you are no longer aware of what is happening around you. You are actually then in a state of light trance. Hypnotherapy is very effective for many problems and challenges that many of us experience each and every day.
Coaching in conjunction with Hypnotherapy is an extremely powerful combination to reach your potential and succeed in the abundant life available to you.
