I am a licenced counsellor, psychotherapist and a Medicare provider of mental health services. I am also an approved counsellor for the NSW Victims of Crime scheme. I have more than 30 years of experience working in the areas of trauma and abuse, therapeutic family work and adult mental health.

About Me

I am committed to providing highly professional and ethical practice that is respectful, confidential and safe for every client. My style is open collaborative and transparent.

I have a BA degree in Social Studies and Social Work and postgraduate qualifications in adult mental health and Systemic Couple and Family Therapy from The Institute of Family Therapy in the UK. I am also qualified as a counsellor and psychotherapist with the Australian Association of Buddhist Counsellors and Psychotherapists (AABCAP) having completed a two years post-graduate course with them. I have also undertaken trauma training in EMDR and exposure based training and complete a Master series in trauma training.

Laxmi Green is a member of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) and AABCAP. She is also a highly trained meditation teacher having trained in meditation and subtle energy work for 14 years.
